We introduced three new ethical cards to the famous DOT Framework
Ethical Dot Cards
As an ICT student or professional, you need to solve all kind of ICT challenges. Answering the questions and tackling the problems or opportunities of your ICT project requires research and often a combination of various ICT research methods.
That is why we use the DOT Framework. This a toolkit on this website that offers you a set of
possible research methods and a framework to select the appropriate (combination of) methods. If you combine strategies you can tackle trade-offs between overview and certainity, and between expertise and fit.
However the DOT Framework is light on ethics and impact. That is why we started a project to include three more DOT cards, that can help think about and research the impact of technology. For now the work in progress on these cards is published here.
